Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026 · Last updated: 2026
1. Introduction
LiteAgents ("we," "our," or "us") provides a conversational agentic API that lets developers add AI agents to their applications while domain experts configure agent behavior, tools, and guardrails. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our platform, dashboard, and related services (the "Service").
For data processed through agents you configure, your organization acts as the data controller and LiteAgents acts as the data processor, acting on your documented instructions. For account administration, billing, and product analytics, LiteAgents acts as an independent controller.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information: name, email address, and organization details.
- Agent configuration: instructions, guardrails, tool definitions, and workflow setup you create in the dashboard.
- Provider credentials: API keys for the LLM and tool providers you connect, encrypted at rest.
- Support communications: feedback and correspondence with our team.
2.2 Information processed on your behalf
- Conversation content: messages exchanged between your end-users and your agents.
- Knowledge library documents: Files and Pages you add for retrieval-augmented generation.
- Tool activity: requests and responses passed to the HTTP endpoints and MCP servers you register.
2.3 Information collected automatically
- Usage, device, and log data used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
3. Bring-Your-Own-Key Model
LiteAgents is a bridge, not a model reseller. When you connect your own provider keys, prompts and completions are routed to the provider you selected under your own account. We do not add a markup on tokens, and we do not use your conversation content or Knowledge library documents to train models.
4. How We Use Information
- Operate the Service and route conversations to your configured agents and providers.
- Authenticate accounts, enforce guardrails, and maintain security.
- Provide support and communicate about the Service.
- Improve reliability and performance in aggregate.
5. Data Retention
Conversations are retained according to the retention settings you configure per agent. You control when a conversation expires. Provider credentials are retained until you remove them. Knowledge library documents persist until deleted.
6. Sharing and Subprocessors
We share information with infrastructure and subprocessors necessary to run the Service (for example, cloud hosting and the LLM and tool providers you choose to connect). We do not sell personal information.
7. Security
Secrets are encrypted at rest and never stored in your codebase. We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and standard operational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. If required by law, we will execute a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with your organization.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
